Candy Digital Sets To Launch A New NFT Collection Next Week

Candy Digital, the next-generation non-fungible token company and brand engagement platform, has announced plans to launch a new non-fungible token collection. The now highly anticipated NFT collection will launch next week on March 18th, 2025. The NFT collection will feature six baseball superstars participating in Japan’s upcoming Major League Baseball (MLB) 2025 Tokyo Series.

In a March 14 blog post, Candy Digital confirmed plans to launch a new non-fungible token collection next week. The upcoming non-fungible token collection will feature the 2025 Tokyo Series ICONs tokenized as a digital trading card. This highly anticipated NFT collection will feature a limited edition of 3,702 NFT collections hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network.

Candy is a new digital asset content company building an innovative NFT ecosystem that will change how fans and collectors engage with their favorite sports, music, art, and cultural icons. The digital collectibles company is backed by notable venture capitals like Fanatics, owned by a group of investors, including the NFL, MLB, NBA, MLS, Silver Lake, SoftBank, BlackRock, Fidelity, and MSD Partners; and Galaxy Digital, owned by Billionaire Michael Novogratz.

The NFT company is also backed by high-profile investor Gary Vaynerchuk. Candy Digital is Major League Baseball’s (MLB) official NFT ecosystem. In their latest drop, the company has tokenized the 2025 Tokyo Series MLB superstar players as digital trading cards. This NFT collection will feature major league baseball (MLB) champions, including Mookie Betts from the Los Angeles Dodgers and Shota Imanaga from the Chicago Clubs.

2025 Tokyo Series ICONs NFT Collection Explained

The upcoming digital trading cards will also feature Dansby Swanson from the Chicago Club, Shohei Ohtani from the Las Angeles Dodgers, Seiya Suzuki from the Chicago Bulls, and Japan native Yoshinobu Yamamoto from the Los Angeles Dodgers. The upcoming major league baseball Tokyo Series 2025 will start on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, and end on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. This tournament is sponsored by the global asset management Guggenheim.

The 2025 MLB Tokyo Series ICONs NFT collection will mark the first ICONs drop of the 2025 MLB season. This special collection featuring six superstars from the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Dodgers will mint at $2 per pack. NFT traders will only be allowed to purchase 5 packs per transaction. This drop also introduces Candy’s first-ever Rainbow set, allowing collectors to chase and complete full rainbow sets of Shohei Ohtani and Shota Imanaga.
