Chainalysis Expands DeFi Capabilities with Ink Integration

Chainalysis, a leading blockchain analysis firm, has announced its integration with Ink, a decentralized finance (DeFi) oriented Ethereum layer 2 solution, according to the Chainalysis Team. Ink, developed on the Superchain by Kraken, aims to revolutionize on-chain development by providing an interoperable and cost-effective platform for deploying protocols and tools.

Integration Details

This integration marks a significant milestone for Chainalysis, as it extends its support to all fungible and non-fungible tokens adhering to the ERC-20, ERC-721, or ERC-1155 standards. The partnership is set to enhance compliance and investigative capabilities, ultimately fostering wider Ink adoption across the blockchain industry.

Enhanced Transaction Monitoring

With the integration, Chainalysis KYT (Know Your Transaction) can now monitor Ink transactions, providing actionable alerts and continuous monitoring to detect high-risk behaviors and prevent suspicious activities. This feature aims to bolster security and trust within the Ink ecosystem.

Advanced Investigative Tools

Chainalysis has also incorporated Ink into its entity-screening products, enabling comprehensive wallet address screening. Additionally, its flagship investigations tool, Reactor, now facilitates the tracing of fund flows across Ink, allowing users to visualize transactions, track movements of funds, and identify potential illicit activities.
